TERRAS Tiefbau is ideally complemented in the west: RAEDER Straßen- und Tiefbau GmbH, based in Mönchengladbach, North Rhine-Westphalia, is a high-performance, full-service provider of civil engineering services. The company offers in-house planning expertise for turnkey civil engineering solutions and AK2 certification for sewer construction. RAEDER employs around 95 people and is primarily active in the structurally strong Rhine-Ruhr region, typically within an 80–100 km radius of the headquarters.
A careful succession process is being planned. Dr. Oliver Hölkermann and Alexander Vieten will remain on board for several more years. Together with TERRAS, they will continue to expand and strengthen the second level, both technically and commercially. This ensures the transfer of knowledge while combining continuity with future viability, in line with the “TERRAS way.”
Extensive synergies in the West Cluster: By partnering with RAEDER, we are expanding our service portfolio to include earthworks and road/asphalt construction while creating real operational synergies. Seidler, our inner-city sewer specialist, is only 35 km away, which is an ideal prerequisite for partnership-based project work. Helming, our sewer construction and drainage specialist, operates within a 200 km radius, which opens up new synergy potential, particularly in the Ruhr region.
